“Make a Splash” Women & girls of all ages please join the Hull Chamber &
Friends for an evening of Food, Fun, Fashion, Fund Raising & Inspiration! A
delicious meal will be served and we will get a sneak peak at the new summer
trends during a fashion show. We will be entertained by Shelly Van Otterloo
and then inspired to “Make a Splash” in our worlds with a short presentation
by Lisa Te Slaa from Precision Leadership Group. Many prizes will be given
away including the grand prize of a family membership to our new Hull pool.
This evening will be an excitement builder and a fund raiser for our new pool.
Modern Woodman of America will be matching funds. The event will be held
Thursday May 31 at 6:30pm at the American Reformed Church. Advance
Tickets will be $25 per person and should be purchased by May 25. Any

The Hull Area Chamber of Commerce sponsored a Mother’s Day Promotion the
week of Mother’s Day. Twenty Chamber businesses donated prizes & gift
certificates that were divided between two gift bags. Each bag contained over $300
worth of goodies for the lucky ladies. Two fun beach bags were filled with fresh
flower bouquets, garden geraniums, gardening tools, a garden flag, a crock-pot
carrier, mugs, certificates for massages, shellac manicures, hair cut & coloring,
candy, a subscription for the Index & many gift certificates for food & services.
Loree Walton who was registered by her granddaughter Taelyn Doorenbos &
Amanda Rozeboom who was registered by her son Auston were the winners. Both
ladies were very excited & thank the Chamber Businesses for their gifts. The Hull
Chamber of Commerce wants to thank our community for shopping locally!
